Macdonald & Company provides computer consulting services to industry,government, and business. The primary areas of activity are project management, database design, and application software design for on-line information systems and manufacturing process control systems. The company was founded in 1989 by its owner and principal consultant, Dr. Robert N. Macdonald.

Dr. Macdonald has experience in business, engineering, and teaching as a university faculty member in computer science. He is familiar with a variety of computer hardware, operating systems, programming languages, and databases. His project experience includes large relational database applications, engineering and scientific analysis, real-time process control, and commercial applications.
